Special thanks to Cr Jenny McKay, Patron, Mike Katsaras, Apex Club of Maleny, and the Lions Club of Maleny-Blackall Range for their assistance with the Barbeque and handing out of medals. This swimming carnival is not only good for the Maleny Swimming Club but also for the wider Maleny and district community as it attracts many people to our area. It is a shame that the aquatic facilities we have to work with limit the Club’s capacity to run a competitive carnival, as the club has to cap the numbers of swimmers we can accept and the type of events we can run.
