Maleny Visitors Centre volunteers get familiar with platypus facts

The family included a fascinating talk by Neil Andison of Platypus Whispers.

Maleny Visitors Information Centre held their first family for 2021.  The morning was enjoyed by 28 volunteers, who also had the chance to catch up with each other.

The family included a fascinating talk by Neil Andison of Platypus Whispers. Neil answered our many question regarding the unique platypus.

Terri Ann from Mondo Botanica and Floral Design showed us all their wonderful floral arrangements and plants.  Terri Ann also discussed the wedding number she annually provides for in Maleny.  This was followed by an enjoyable cup of coffee at The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard.  We then proceeded to visit Runaway to Maleny, a peaceful B&B situated at a very secluded tranquil bushland setting, beside the Obi Obi Creek.  A great way for the MVIC volunteers to start 2021!
