Shop local, travel anywhere, thanks to Nambour Plaza

What has spines like a porcupine, a beak like a bird, a pouch like a kangaroo, and lays eggs like a reptile?  An echidna of course. Pat and Frank McDonald of Maleny spotted this beautiful little visitor to their back garden recently. Did you know echidnas have the lowest body temperature of any mammal at 32 degrees Celsius.

After months of travel restrictions now is the time to celebrate and take a well-deserved holiday. You may want to choose a beautiful Queensland offering such as the glittering Gold Coast, tropical Cairns or the majestic Whitsundays. Or you may want to venture further afield.

The choice really is yours with a $2000 Flight Centre gift card, valid for three years from the date of issue.

It took 45 minutes of pure patience for Andrea Weber to capture this image as these tiny birds are so incredibly fast in flight. It’s a Red-browed Finch, the picture taken at Maleny Botanic Gardens.

Nambour Plaza customers just need to spend $10 or more at any specialty retailer and pop your receipt with your full name, postcode and phone number on it in the barrel near Flight Centre.

“This is our way of supporting our wonderful local specialty shops,” said marketing manager Clare Webb. “Nambour Plaza speciality stores include a range of fashion, food and services outlets and we offer free parking for three hours. We’re right in the heart of Nambour and we have everything you need!”

The speciality store promotion runs until draw day Thursday March 11, 2021 at 3pm.

“One customer will win a $2000 Flight Centre gift card plus 10 runners up will receive a $100 Nambour Plaza eftpos gift card. Now that would be a treat for our shoppers,” said Clare.
