The Maleny Players are excited to announce their first production for 2021; ‘Shakespeare: the guided tour’.  The show features short excerpts from ten of Shakespeare’s plays which will be linked by narration from the ‘Tour Guide’.

The show, directed by Andrew Wallace, will no doubt revive memories for some and remind you that Shakespeare is not there to be revered, but to be relished.  Whether you are a Shakespeare novice, or well versed in Shakespearian drama, come along to the Maleny Playhouse to enjoy excerpts from plays which include Henry IV; Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’ Dream, Anthony and Cleopatra to name but a few.  Well-known Sunshine Coast musician Kim Kirkman will perform authentic music of the period.  The music is integrated into the dramatic action.
