Beauty services are a new addition to the treatment menu at Sacred Body in Palmwoods, and therapist Sheri Respondino is bringing a unique approach to beauty to clients.

“My treatments are based on the principles of Esoteric healing (healing from within), and have been designed to be supportive of the body,” Sheri explained. “I was first introduced to esoteric practice when I worked at a holistic dental clinic in Brisbane and I was blown away by how incredibly restorative it is.

“With respect to beauty services, it stands to reason that you don’t look beautiful if you don’t feel beautiful. Stress and heavy emotions end up externalized on your face.”

Sheri has studied beauty therapy and is currently studying nutrition as this naturally compliments her therapy menu.

“I am using the beautiful Sacred Body product range and my clients are experiencing fantastic results,” said Sheri. “While products play an important role in glowing skin, other factors such as stress, food and lifestyle are fundamental to not just healthy skin, but our overall health as well”.

Sheri offers traditional beauty treatments as well as chakra puncture and Esoteric Connective Tissue Therapy.

“I love to stay abreast of trends in beauty and use them to augment my client’s best features, rather than to slavishly ‘follow’,” she said. 

“They can either enhance something amazing about ourselves or confirm what is not for you. Beauty Therapy is an ever expanding world but in the end, it can be used to support us to look and feel amazing, whilst staying true to who we are”.

LED lights, deep cleansing, a Derma Roller and collagen building are all part of Sheri’s beauty tool kit and she is working with Sacred Body’s Linda Goggan to formulate a cosmeceutical range specifically for mature skin.

“I have previously worked in a 5-star day spa and I understand the importance of the little touches that create total luxury,” Sheri said. 

“At the end of the day, even a simple waxing treatment presents an opportunity for rest and relaxation. I know I have done my job well when my clients leave looking and feeling lighter and brighter and more connected with themselves.”
