Riley Cope, creator of hit show “In Flight Entertainment,” is swapping the sky for the sea in a new comedic cruise ship cabaret, “Holy Ship.”

Riley Cope, Sunshine Coast local, is a producer and performer who knows a thing or two when it comes to life on the high seas.

In 2018 Riley returned to the Sunshine Coast after entertaining on board Carnival Cruise Lines, Carnival Paradise, which saw him travelling the Caribbean to Cuba and Mexico.

After experiencing the chaotic and exhilarating conduct on board, he saw an opportunity to create a cabaret showcasing the lives of seafarers.

The end result is an action packed, comedic cabaret titled “Holy Ship.”

Experience the entertainment and hospitality associated with cruising without having to leave port.

Get ship faced, “somewhere beyond the sea,” for a night of boat rocking fun as we take a look behind closed portholes.

Singing, dancing, acting, booze, bingo, more booze and missing passengers. Near, far, wherever you are, don’t miss the entertaining experience that is “Holy Ship.”

Repeat cruiser or virgin voyager, this is one itinerary you don’t want to miss.

This is not Riley’s first rodeo when it comes to writing and producing a cabaret. In 2019 he created the hilarious musical comedy “In Flight Entertainment,” a high altitude cabaret exploring the turbulent lives of aviation crew.

“In Flight Entertainment” has performed to sellout crowds locally and interstate. It won the Sunshine Coast Anywhere Theatre Festival award in 2019 for the season at the Queensland Air Museum.

• “Holy Ship” will be performed at the Lind Lane Theatre, Nambour, on January 21, 22 and 23. Tickets are selling fast. Bookings can be made online at www.copecreative.com.au/shows or over the phone 1300 732 764.
