A gift shop in Palmwoods is putting down the challenge to other businesses get in to the Christmas spirit by decorating their shopfronts.

Little Miss Bohoe owner Jackie Allen said it was a great way to say farewell to a forgettable 2020 and she is encouraging fellow Little Main Street traders to do the same.

“I usually do a window every year but we especially thought we needed to this year because 2020 has been so miserable for everyone,” she said.

“We just wanted to create some Christmas cheer. And now we seem to have set the bar because other business owners are jumping on board.

“We’re waiting with bated breath to see what others come up with,” said offsider Mel Stephens who makes home-made kids clothes.
