8 Ball Aitken Band to rock Nambour in final local show of the year

Hinterland swamp-blues and soul-rock powerhouse, the 8 Ball Aitken Band, will headline at The Presynct in Nambour on Friday, November 1st, marking their final local performance for 2024. The show, which promises a night of energetic and passionate live music, will feature supporting acts Jessy Lynch Band and Craig Madden Band. Doors open at 7pm, with tickets available through Oztix and 8ballaitken.com.

8 Ball Aitken has built an impressive reputation over the years, having toured in over 20 countries. With a fanbase that continues to grow from his live shows and internet videos, 8 Ball is well-known for his work as a singer, songwriter, slide guitarist, and producer. His career took him to Nashville, where he spent nine years working with some of the biggest names in blues music before returning to Australia.

His latest album, ‘Ice Cream Man 2’, hit number 1 on the Australian Blues & Roots Charts in June 2023 and has produced four #1 hits on the AMRAP charts. The album, which was produced at his Glass House Mountains studio, features Grammy-winning drummer Tom Hambridge, saxophone legend Buddy Leach (George Thorogood & The Destroyers), and Sydney soul singer Taya Chani.
